Our clients wanted the ultimate basement experience: a functional and inviting family room where they could relax, entertain and showcase their sports memorabilia. The completed project not only exceeded their expectations but also earned several local and national remodeling awards. The primary design challenge was reclaiming unused space and integrating the former garage area into the new family room.
We installed a structural beam to provide long-term support, consolidated the utilities into a dedicated mechanical room and created a code-compliant bedroom with an egress window well. We also remodeled the existing bathroom and added a wine room, full-service bar and gas fireplace. The result is the comfortable, polished basement living space our clients envisioned.
